I run Next Door Cleaning Co, a small but quickly growing family business based in Erskineville. As a young, motivated owner, I'm looking for an experienced cleaner to help lead our cleaning services, including bond, end of lease, pre-sale cleans and one-off deep cleans across residential and commercial spaces. Work is predominantly across the Inner West, with occasional travel to other Sydney suburbs as needed.
You'll work directly alongside me on most jobs, and take the lead on others yourself. Every job is a direct reflection on me as the owner, so I need someone who takes real pride in their work. The work is ad hoc to begin with as the business grows, with genuine potential to become more regular over time.
What you'll do
- Work alongside me on jobs, and lead bond, end of lease, pre-sale and one-off deep cleans yourself
- Take full ownership of the job meeting inspection standard
- Help train and oversee other cleaners as the team grows
- Report back on job condition and any extra work needed
Pay and benefits
- $45/hour weekday
- $54/hour Saturday
- $68/hour Sunday
- Public holiday rates paid correctly above award ($85/hour)
- Superannuation paid on top, every pay run
- Paid travel time between jobs during your shift
- $1.01/km vehicle allowance for work-related driving in your own car
- $10 per day equipment and supplies allowance
- Ad hoc and casual to start, with real potential to move into more regular, permanent work as the business grows
- Reliable weekly pay, everything above board, no cash in hand
What I'm looking for
- Solid experience in bond, end of lease or deep cleaning
- Someone who takes pride in their work and treats every job like it reflects on them
- Comfortable working solo, and just as comfortable working alongside the owner
- Able to teach and quality-check a newer cleaner's work
- Current driver's licence and reliable car
- Own basic cleaning equipment
- Live in or near the Inner West
