About the Role
As an experienced Dental Assistant at DB Dental Joondalup, you'll play an integral role in supporting our clinicians and delivering exceptional care to patients every day.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you'll provide both clinical and administrative support, assist during a wide range of dental procedures, maintain high infection control standards, and help create a welcoming and positive environment for patients.
You'll be a valued member of a professional and collaborative team that genuinely cares about patient outcomes and each other's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance across a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical presentation standards
- Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation in accordance with infection control protocols
- Supporting clinicians with efficient patient flow and treatment delivery
- Assisting with administrative duties and patient communications as required
- Contributing to a positive patient experience from arrival to departure
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Dental Assistant
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Experience using Dental4Windows (D4W)
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting
