About the Role
Join GBA as a Senior Project Manager leading civil infrastructure projects across roads, water, wastewater, and aerodromes.
You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, including planning, design, procurement, construction oversight, and contract management—ensuring projects are delivered on time and to high-quality and safety standards.
This is a senior role where you will engage with local government, state agencies, and private clients, providing trusted advice and delivering meaningful infrastructure outcomes across regional Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full project lifecycle delivery
Oversee budget, scope, scheduling, and risk management
Deliver projects in line with HSEQ and regulatory requirements
Manage contracts, reporting, and funding submissions
Provide technical advice on civil infrastructure projects
Engage stakeholders, including local councils and TMR
Support data collection and project delivery in regional/remote areas
Skills and Experiences:
What We’re Looking For
Extensive experience in project management (civil infrastructure / engineering)
Qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
Strong experience delivering roads, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of local government and/or Transport & Main Roads (TMR) is highly regarded
Proven ability to manage scope, cost, risk, and compliance
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience in contract management and procurement
Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel region and remote
