About the role
Inner West Council is seeking motivated and skilled leaders to join our dynamic Civil Works team. As a Team Leader - Civil Works, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil construction and maintenance services across the Inner West community.
In this hands-on position, you’ll be accountable for coordinating and managing team members and resources in undertaking civil construction and maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner to ensure the long term productivity and efficiency of the Civil Maintenance Section. Your work and activities will meet commitments in your individual or team work plan.

Remuneration
$67,037 to $73,024 + 12% Superannuation
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated success in coordinating and managing a team, plant, materials, contractors and other resources to achieve team work goals within agreed timeframes.
- Demonstrated experience and capability to productively plan, manage and undertake infrastructure construction and maintenance projects and activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Safework general construction induction card (white card).
- Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
