We're looking for a warm, organised and proactive Dental Receptionist who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an essential role in ensuring every patient feels welcomed, valued and cared for from their first phone call through to the completion of their treatment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients with professionalism and genuine care.
- Managing appointments, recalls and the daily appointment schedule.
- Answering phones, emails and patient enquiries.
- Processing payments, Medicare and private health fund claims.
- Assisting with treatment plan scheduling and patient communication.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative documentation.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
- Working closely with our clinicians to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with people.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software.
- Professional in presentation and communication.
Previous dental experience is highly regarded, however applicants with strong reception or customer service experience from other industries are encouraged to apply.
