About the opportunity
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end solution delivery of analytical solutions within the Customer Experience Transformation Program. This will include gathering, analysing and interpreting requirements from stakeholders, building and testing analytical solutions, as well as demonstrating the solution to end users. This role involves providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to support informed business decision-making.
The role will be supported by other members in the Customer Adoption team and wider Australia Post. Your role has a focus on continuous improvement, quality assurance, stakeholder experience, and reporting and system enablement to deliver simplified, automated and scalable solutions supporting data-driven decisioning. There are times the Senior Data Analyst will deliver training and knowledge-transfer sessions to end users to ensure effective adoption and use of analytics solutions.
This is a 2-year Fixed-Term contract.
You’ll also
- Design and develop advanced analytics solutions using Australia Post’s analytic tools to meet organisational needs.
- Develop custom dashboards that translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimisation.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency through the implementation of data validation and data cleansing processes.
- Monitor, review, and optimise the performance of analytics solutions to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to data integration, reporting, visualisation, and system performance.
- Manage and maintain Recipes and pipelines to support analytical and reporting requirements.
About you
You're a strong collaborator who enjoys partnering with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs and turn them into practical, data-driven solutions. You'll be confident translating business requirements into technical designs and working closely with data and technology teams to integrate and unlock insights from a wide range of internal and external data sources.
You’ll also need
- Background working in a data analysis role, engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, creating User Stories, sourcing, cleaning and preparing data, analysing data, building dashboards and performing QA
- Proven experience using Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery
- Knowledge of statistical methods, techniques, formulas, and tests.
- Skilled in using Agile tools (Miro, Jira, Confluence) and familiarity with Looker or PowerBI
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data quality findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willing to learn: Salesforce Sales Cloud o Salesforce Data 360, Tableau Next tool and Salesforce Customer Relationship Management Analytics tool
