Week 1 - Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 10:00 - 16:00 + Saturday 13:30 - 16:30
Week 2 - Tuesday/Thursday 10:00 - 16:00 + Saturday 13:30 - 16:30
Join the vibrant Wellbeing & Lifestyle Team as a Lifestyle Assistant, where you'll play an active role in creating engaging leisure experiences for residents. Working closely with our experienced team, you'll support residents to participate in meaningful activities while ensuring their needs are met with care and respect.
You will be responsible for
- Bring joy and energy to our residents by reviewing and enhancing their engagement in lifestyle programs
- Help plan and facilitate exciting group activities tailored to residents’ interests, from lively sing-alongs and concert parties to friendly games and social outings
- Under the guidance of the Wellbeing Consultant, contribute to the development and evaluation of meaningful experiences for individuals and groups
- Support residents in participating as independently as possible, ensuring their comfort and enjoyment
- Keep leisure equipment in top shape, set up engaging spaces, and promptly report any changes in participation to the Registered Nurse
- Assist the Wellbeing Consultant to manage supplies, track costs, and oversee financial transactions related to Lifestyle Services
- Provide guidance and encouragement to volunteers and students, helping to create a vibrant and inclusive environment!
What you will bring to the role
- Hold or in the process of obtaining qualifications related to leisure, health or community services.
- Experienced in planning and facilitating recreational and leisure pursuits, including themed events and functions.
- Specific experience in working with Older People
- Be passionate about enhancing the wellbeing of our residents.
