We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our busy Erina shop team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, stock handling, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing ingredients such as vegetables, meats, sauces...
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, benches, and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist chefs and cooks during busy service times
- Refill ingredients and restock supplies
- Receive and organise deliveries
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Remove rubbish and maintain clean waste areas
- Support opening and closing kitchen duties
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or fast-food experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good attention to cleanliness and organisation
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Flexible availability, including weekends
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift moderate loads
- Comfortable working in a hot and busy kitchen environment
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
