About the Role
The Assessment Coordinator, Industry Advisory is responsible for coordinating practitioner examinations and assessment activities that support the Building and Plumbing Commission's registration and licensing schemes. The role plays a critical part in ensuring examinations are delivered efficiently, consistently and in accordance with established policies and governance requirements.
This includes responsibility for:
- End-to-end examination and assessment coordination
- Candidate bookings and examination scheduling
- Examination payments and results administration
- Candidate support and reasonable adjustments
- Examination integrity and candidate misconduct management
- Examination reporting and performance monitoring
- Stakeholder engagement and customer service
- Supporting digital examination delivery and examination reform initiatives
Working closely with Technical Advisors, Examiners, Registered Training Organisations, examination providers and internal stakeholders, the role contributes to the successful delivery of practitioner assessments and examinations across Victoria.
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated experience coordinating high-volume administrative, assessment or examination activities in a corporate, education, regulatory or government environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities within tight timeframes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience building positive stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality customer service outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, reports and examination documentation.
- Experience identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and contributing to service delivery enhancements.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in examination administration, assessment coordination, practitioner licensing, education administration or regulatory service delivery.
- Experience in examination administration, assessment operations, regulatory services or customer service delivery environments is desirable.
