About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to shape major health infrastructure investments through high‑quality economic and financial analysis. As a Senior Analyst, you will lead the delivery of cost‑benefit and financial analysis that underpins evidence‑based business cases, ensuring alignment with NSW Treasury guidelines and supporting critical decision‑making for impactful health projects across NSW.
Working within a collaborative and forward‑thinking advisory team, you’ll partner with project managers, health stakeholders and technical experts to deliver clear, insightful analysis. You’ll play a key role in strengthening frameworks, contributing to research initiatives, and sharing lessons learned, all while helping to deliver innovative infrastructure that improves outcomes for communities across NSW.
This is a fixed term full-time opportunity for two years period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
Success in this role will suit a skilled analyst who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes pride in delivering high quality economic and financial analyses under tight deadlines. Confidence managing multiple priorities, while maintaining strong attention to detail and analytical rigour, is key to achieving outcomes.
You will bring strong financial modelling, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams to gather and validate data. A natural ability to translate complex technical insights into clear, practical outputs will ensure your work effectively informs business cases and decision making.
