About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer join our professional services team, this role requires someone with hands on experience designing and implementing complex solutions across LAN/WAN and Core/Equipment room (Core and Carrier). We need one lead specializing across LAN/WAN Solutions including ISE/SDA/SDWAN/Switching/Wireless and one lead specializing across Core Network and Carrier solutions
Senior Network Engineer will be required to perform and/or have responsibility for duties including, but not limited to:
- Technical Lead experience delivering projects and directing the technical elements and escalations.
- Design and implement advanced Segment Routing solutions to enhance network flexibility, scalability, and automation.
- Ability to jump on tools to assist in resolving complex issues with engineers.
- Plan and implement network changes and upgrades, including firewall policies, routing updates, wireless access point deployments, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Defined and enforced network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies across IT/OT boundaries, reducing lateral movement risks and improving regulatory compliance.
- Designed and led the implementation of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for centralized AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) across enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and remote access environments.
- Can articulate clearly and concisely issues, decisions required, reasoning for decisions.
- Share expertise with the team, provide guidance, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and collaborative learning.
Skills and Experience required:
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of LAN/WAN networks, including Cisco ISE, Software-Defined Access (SDA), Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN), Next-generation firewall - Palo Alto / Fortinet and switch solutions.
- Manage and maintain core network infrastructure in the Equipment room and Core/Carrier environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Architect and implement network segmentation, access control, and identity services using Cisco ISE for both wired and wireless networks.
- Oversee SD-WAN deployment, configuration, and integration with existing WAN technologies, optimizing application traffic flows and ensuring seamless branch connectivity.
- Lead projects to modernize the LAN/WAN infrastructure, including the migration to SDA, enhancing automation, and improving network analytics and visibility.
- lead the design, deployment, and optimization of MPLS-based networks, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN services.
- Manage and configure Cisco NCS540 platforms for MPLS, Segment Routing, EVPN, and VPN services.
- Deploy and manage EVPN for Layer 2/3 VPN solutions across the network, ensuring efficient and reliable connectivity.
- Architect and troubleshoot VPN solutions, including site-to-site, remote access, and MPLS VPNs.
Required Qualifications and skills:
- Graduate (Technology/Science) from a reputed university.
- Bachelor's Degree in ICT or a related discipline.
- Cisco (Routing and Switching) certification is also highly recommended
