Job description: IMMEDIATE START - ONGOING ROLE
About the Role: Join our busy manufacturing team in Dandenong South as a Forklift Operator, handling long steel products, jigs, and large loads. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with the team to safely move, load, and handle materials in a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely in a busy production area
- Move long steel products and large/awkward loads
- Assist the team with moving large items such as boat trailers
- Load vehicles safely and correctly
- Help with general manual handling when needed
Essential Requirements
- Current Forklift Licence.
- Strong forklift experience, especially with long or awkward loads
- Good safety awareness
- Full Australian working rights.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures
- Wear required PPE at all times
- Complete safety and lifting training as required
- Stay alert around overhead cranes and never stand under suspended loads
Pay: $34.00 per hour
