Fixed-term, full-time role until 24th August 2027, earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.
What you will do
As meeting coordinator, you will prepare cases and support the adult parole board to make informed decisions.
You will keep work moving, maintain high standards and help improve daily operations.
You will:
-
prepare and present accurate cases for board meetings
-
finalise case material within required timeframes
-
respond to complex enquiries from courts, government agencies, prisoners and members of the public
-
complete careful quality checks and support improvements to systems and processes
-
support daily operations, contribute to projects and represent the board in meetings when needed.
About you
A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable. Knowledge of the Corrections Act 1986, the Sentencing Act 1991 and the board's rules is also desirable.
You should also have:
-
sound knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to apply it
-
strong problem-solving skills and good judgement
-
clear communication skills with a range of audiences
-
a flexible approach, a commitment to inclusion and a focus on continuous improvement.
