Job Summary:
Mac-BAT Energy Storage & Battery Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a Battery Installation Supervisor to coordinate on-site installation activities for battery and energy storage projects. This role suits someone with practical technical experience who can organise crews, manage site requirements, and help ensure installations progress safely and efficiently from site preparation through completion.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise day-to-day battery and energy storage installation activities
- Coordinate technicians, contractors, equipment, and site requirements
- Review installation schedules and organise daily work priorities
- Monitor progress and communicate updates to relevant project teams
- Support teams with practical installation and site-related issues
- Check that required materials and equipment are available before scheduled work
- Maintain installation records, site documentation, and completion information
- Coordinate access and work activities with customers and other site personnel
- Help ensure work follows applicable procedures, project specifications, and safety requirements
- Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities
- Report installation delays, resource needs, and other site concerns to management
Requirements:
- Experience in electrical installation, energy systems, construction, technical services, field operations, renewable energy, or a related environment
- Practical understanding of site-based installation activities
- Ability to coordinate technicians, contractors, and work priorities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable reading basic technical documents and installation instructions
- Ability to identify practical site issues and coordinate appropriate action
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous but not essential for candidates with strong technical or site coordination experience
- Relevant trade, technical, or electrical qualifications are highly regarded; role-specific licensing requirements will apply where legally required

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
