Chiosco by Ormeggio, situated at d’Albora Marina in Mosman, is a thriving Italian trattoria known for its classic cuisine and relaxed, BYO-friendly atmosphere. Proudly run by the highly esteemed Two-Hatted Ormeggio team, we are currently seeking a talented Chef de Partieeager to grow and advance their career in a fast-paced, supportive kitchen environment.
Our venue operates seven days a week and offers à la carte service, group events, takeaway options from our kiosk, and boat catering packages. As a Chef de Partie at Chiosco, you can expect a variety of working hours, including weekends.
What We’re Looking For:

Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Formal cooking qualification
- Strong verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with Italian cuisine essential
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and thrive in a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute
- Excellent attention to detail
- A passion for food and delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Completion of NSW Food Handlers course
Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications:

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Experience on the hot/grill section
- Expertise in pasta fresca
- Experience with Italian seafood preparation

- Support with menu planning, recipe development, training, and implementation
- Maintain cost control and kitchen efficiency within budget
