Front of House / Floor Staff — Divaa Indian Restaurant

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests warmly, creating a positive first impression.
- Present menus, offer recommendations, and answer questions regarding dishes, spice levels, and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly and ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and payments (cash and card) with professionalism.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the dining floor.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment (preferred, but training provided for candidates with the right attitude).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed during peak services.
- Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card (or willingness to obtain one prior to start).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid Australian working rights.

Pay: $26.44 – $41.25 per hour
