About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our growing team. This role involves fault finding, repairs, maintaining, and optimisation of IML machines and robotics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently while providing technical support and advice to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, examine, and test machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults.
- Repair, maintain, and service IML machines and robotic equipment.
- Adjust, repair, and replace worn or defective mechanical and electrical components.
- Reassemble, test operate and calibrate equipment following repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
- Advise staff on the correct operation and maintenance of equipment to prevent malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field - Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatics.
- Proven experience repairing and servicing similar production equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
