About the opportunity
As part of the Product Development team, you will collaborate with the NAU Creative Lead to drive the development of new designs and manage the success of released products. In addition, you will be taking active steps to improve development, production, and logistical processes for all Cult and NAU manufactured pieces, maintaining full product documentation across the entire collection.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work directly with designers and the NAU team to bring new products to the marketplace.
- Assist in the customisation and project delivery of large scale projects.
- Track and report on all product development costs and timelines
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers and source new ones as required.
- Solve supply and quality control issues for any released products.
- Understanding broader market and customer needs
About you:
The successful applicant will:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Industrial or Product Design
- Have 2-3 years’ experience in furniture and lighting (desired)
- Sound knowledge of Solidworks, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office required.
- Knowledge of Keyshot, Draftsight or AutoCAD desirable
- Have good attention to detail
- Be commercially oriented
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
