About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to lead and coordinate administrative operations within Allied Health services. You will supervise staff, manage workflows, support service planning, and ensure high-quality, patient-focused administrative support while maintaining compliance with policies, performance standards, and organisational priorities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices.
Supervise and manage administration staff responsible to this position including preparation of rosters, recruitment and selection, management of workloads, performance appraisal, development, training and development to ensure duties and targets are completed efficiently and within timeframes. Backfill emergent leave when required.
Model and promote professional competence, accountability and ethical behaviour
Lead organisational and cultural change as it impacts on the Department's staff and/or processes.
