Our male client is in his early thirties and lives with his family in Teesdale, South West Victoria. He requires a FEMALE support worker to assist with his daily routine, inclusive of personal care (with hoist transfers), meal preparation, and community access. Community access with be via taxi.
You need to have experience with providing supports to someone with a physical disability and be proficient with hoisting. Training will be provided in his home by our client and his family. There is a friendly dog in our client’s home .
Our client is a great conversationalist and a published author who enjoys going out into the community and engaging with people. He also enjoys video gaming, spending time with animals, watching movies, exercising in the pool, watching YouTube, going to church, attending family functions, and doing research. He likes a peaceful and calm environment, and knowing that he is being listened to when in conversation.
Thursdays: 8.30am-5pm and every second Monday: 8.30am-5pm
You must have the following to be considered for interview:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
$37.60 p/h day rate (SCHADS Home Care) + super
Certificate III or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
