Peak Fitness 247 Gym & Recovery Centre is a premium 24/7 facility focused on delivering high-quality training environments and exceptional member experiences. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and professional Gym Receptionist / Admin team member for our Taylors Lakes location.
About the Role
This is a front desk / customer service role where you will be the first point of contact for members. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a high standard across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting members and providing a welcoming environment
- Handling enquiries (in person, phone & email)
- Managing memberships (sign-ups, changes, payments)
- Booking classes and assisting with schedules
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the gym
- General admin duties
- Supporting day-to-day operations
- Please note that this is not a sit-behind-the-desk role.
As part of this position, all team members are expected to contribute equally to the day-to-day presentation and cleanliness of the facility. Duties include, but are not limited to, mopping floors, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, wiping down and dusting equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members.
Cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities are shared equally amongst all staff and form an important part of the role.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years customer service or reception experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-presented and professional
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (GymMaster experience advantageous)
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual (non-negotiable)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Due to the nature of this role, we are seeking someone with a high degree of flexibility and availability who can adapt to changing roster requirements, including early mornings , weekdays, evenings, weekends
