How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Regional Manager with One Doorway, you will lead a dedicated team of carers who provide person-centred support to people with disabilities in their own homes.
A day in the life as a Regional Manager with One Doorway may include:

Delivering person-centred care, including daily living tasks and supports based on individual needs and support plans.
- Completing accurate progress notes and documentation after each shift.
-
Advocating for participants and empowering them through choice, control, and independence
-
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families and other stakeholders.
- Manual handling assistance
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support
- Providing supports in a range of environments, including community events and in the home
As a Regional Manager, you will have experience within the disability and/or healthcare sectors. You will also demonstrate the following:

Experience supporting participants with high and complex needs, along with strong communication skills
-
A strong commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live safe, dignified, and meaningful lives.

A patient, flexible, understanding, and supportive nature, with excellent listening skills and strong attention to detail.

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly working with individuals with different hoist and transfer requirements, is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead a team, who all work towards the same goals and outcomes for our participants.

Compassionate and patient demeanour with a genuine passion for helping others.

Ability to work independently, while supporting our participants, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Desirable, however, not essential:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
