In the role of Senior Business Banking Manager, you will join the Franchise team that’s doubling down on customer obsession! This role involves strategic planning for key brands and clients, including client engagement, origination of new transactions, collaborating with other team members and maintaining a sustainable risk position in relation to key brands and the client set.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:
- Be accountable for building client advocacy and originating NTB transactions in the Queensland Franchise market across key brands in industries such as QSR, Services, Accommodation, etc.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of business banking customers, driving both retention and new-to-bank acquisition.
- Be accountable for financial performance of the client set, including pipeline management, account planning and origination.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through referral partners and external networks.
- Partner with internal specialists and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end customer outcomes.
We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:
- Proven experience in business or commercial banking with strong exposure to lending and credit assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a portfolio through both acquisition and relationship deepening.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, financial analysis and structuring lending deals.
- Understands the symbiotic relationship between Franchisors and Franchisees and manages the client relationship in a way that is positive for all.
- Strong communication skills and customer mindset, fostering a sense of urgency towards customer needs.
