What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead
- Level 1 ASP authorisation (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working on the Essential Energy network
- Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR/HC/MC – unrestricted)
- Strong understanding of network standards and safety compliance
- White Card
- Australian working rights
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely undertake works associated with the construction, commissioning, operating and maintenance of overhead distribution systems in accordance with your training and scope of authorization
Use, interpret and- complex or advanced drawings and diagrams
- Use a variety of locating and fault-finding equipment
- Undertake all required safety processes and documentation, safety responsibilities and ensure the health and safety of yourself and others
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings
- Ensure all site requirements are adhered to
- Comply with all laws and regulations associated with the electrical industry
- Drive and operate company vehicles and mobile plant
