The Opportunity
We’re looking for a URD Design Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Services team in Hendra, leading subdivision design projects across Queensland.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee Energex subdivision designs from concept through to delivery, manage a team of designers, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting a team of designers to deliver high-quality Energex subdivision designs
- Overseeing the preparation of Energex works plans and ensuring all design requirements are met
- Ensuring all designs comply with Energex standards, regulations and guidelines
- Managing project timelines, workloads and resources to keep projects on track
- Acting as a key point of contact between designers, clients and stakeholders
- Mentoring team members and supporting their development and progression
Identifying design challenges early and working collaboratively to resolve them

What We’re Looking For
- Energex subdivision design experience (minimum 1 year)
- Strong ability to read and interpret Energex works plans and documentation
- A natural interest in leading people and managing projects
- Clear, confident communication skills when dealing with clients and stakeholders
- A strong quality mindset with a track record of delivering compliant designs
- A proactive problem-solver who enjoys improving ways of working
Previous team leadership or project coordination experience is highly regarded
