The Learning Nook Early Education & Child Care is seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team in a full‑time, permanent role. This position supports high‑quality education and care for children aged 0–5 years in a warm, family‑centred environment.
About the Role
This role includes duties such as:
- Supervising and caring for children during routines, play, and learning experiences
- Supporting children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
- Assisting in planning, implementing, and evaluating learning programs aligned with the EYLF
- Observing, documenting, and reporting on children’s progress
- Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment
- Supporting behaviour guidance and positive interactions
- Communicating with families and working collaboratively with the team
- Assisting with daily routines, including meals, rest, transitions, and hygiene practices
These duties reflect the actual day‑to‑day responsibilities of the position within our service.
Skills & Experience Required
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA‑assessed equivalent)
- Experience in early childhood education
- Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and child‑safe practices
- Current Working With Children Check -QLD Blue Card
- Current QLD Child Protection Training and National Child Safety Training Certificates
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis

Pay: $76,515.00 – $80,000.00 per year

- early learning: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Working With Children (WWC) Check-QLD BLUECARD (Required)
- first aid and cpr certificate. (Preferred)
