About the role
Perform Cardiac CT imaging procedures with a high level of clinical expertise, autonomy, and professional judgement.
Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring safe, efficient, and evidence-based imaging practices.
Provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to Radiographers, students, and junior staff members.
Contribute to quality improvement, quality assurance, radiation safety, and the ongoing development of departmental protocols and services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support education and research initiatives, and drive excellence across the Medical Imaging Service.
About you
Holds relevant qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) recognised by the MRPB, with current AHPRA registration and valid EPA Radiation Licence, and AIR accreditation.
Demonstrated clinical experience in Medical Imaging with strong proficiency in CT, with cardiac imaging experience.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with capacity to motivate, guide, and contribute to service goals.
Strong commitment to best practice, with sound problem-solving, decision-making skills, and active involvement in developing protocols and processes.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and computer literacy skills, with ongoing commitment to professional development and staff education.
