Day to day, in this role, you can enjoy:
Use your mastery knowledge of cooking to plan an interesting and exciting menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old
Preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
Confidently managing the kitchen autonomously, ensuring effective stock rotation, budgeting, and shopping for your kitchen
Ensuring the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with the Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
Mentoring and guiding a kitchen hand in a professional environment, to deliver the highest quality of food and service
Providing thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Educators to our littlest learners
Collaborate with our National Nutritional Program Partner, with a focus on environmentally sustainable practices within our eco-friendly settings.

About You:
At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Current VIC Working with Children's Check
- Current VIC Child Protection and National Child Safety Training Certificates
- Current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012)
National Police Clearance obtained in the last 6 months
The availability to work from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday
