Keeping our hotel running smoothly is essential to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Maintenance Officer, you'll help ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and presented to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:

Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.

Responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Maintaining guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment to a high standard.

Assisting with painting, grouting, silicone work, and general refurbishment projects.
-
Conducting routine inspections and identifying opportunities for proactive maintenance.
-
Working safely and in line with hotel policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Supporting the Engineering team to ensure all operational areas remain guest-ready at all times.
- Painting, silicone and grouting experience will be highly regarded.

A trade qualification or certification is preferred.

At least one year of experience in maintenance, repairs, facilities, or a similar role.

Practical skills and working knowledge of building systems, hand and power tools, basic plumbing, electrical work, and preventative maintenance practices.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.

Good literacy, numeracy, and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and maintenance management or reporting systems.

A high level of physical fitness, with the ability to spend extended periods standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

An electrical licence or related qualifications will be highly regarded.

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
