About the Role:
The Quilpie Imperial Motel is seeking an experienced and reliable Pub Cook to join our friendly team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality pub-style meals to locals and visitors, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pub meals to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, complying with food safety requirements
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Deliver meals in a timely and professional manner during busy service periods
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a pub or bistro setting
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Availability for a flexible roster including lunches, evenings and weekends
