Rosehill College is seeking a qualified Individual Support Trainer/Assessor to conduct 1-2 local work placement visits for an online student.
This is a short-term contractor opportunity, not an ongoing teaching role. It may suit a qualified trainer/assessor already working locally in aged care, disability support, home care, community care, or VET training who is available to complete occasional placement visits.

Key duties:
- Attend the student's placement workplace for a scheduled visit
- Observe and support the student in the workplace
- Liaise briefly with the workplace supervisor
- Complete Rosehill College placement visit documentation
- Provide clear written feedback after the visit
Essential requirements:
- CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability), or a higher relevant qualification
- Current/recent industry experience in aged care, home and community care, or disability support
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40122, or successor qualification
- Ongoing professional development in VET and assessment practice
- Ability to attend a local placement site in Umina Beach NSW
Preferred:
- ABN
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, if applicable
This is a paid short-term contractor engagement for 1-2 placement visits. The indicative rate is AU$250 - AU$300 per visit. Please include your expected rate per visit, including any travel-related costs if applicable. Indicative only. Final contractor rate will be agreed based on the applicant's quoted rate, availability, location and travel requirements.
