Job Summary:
The Front of House Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service, creating a welcoming environment, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front service area. They are the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in delivering a positive dining or hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, front counter, and service stations.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and requests professionally.
- Ensure tables are clean, set up, and ready for guests.
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Promote menu items and upsell where appropriate.
