Title: Specialist Administration Officer, Temporary - Full-time Role - 18 months, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $77,285.31 to $89,818.38 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Environment and Resilience
The Environment & Resilience Business Unit manages complex environmental and engineering programs and projects to achieve quality outcomes for the residents and the environment of the Northern Beaches. The Business Unit delivers the strategic and operational management of:
- Bushland and biodiversity protection and restoration including threatened species and pest species management and the control of bush fire risk
- Catchment, waterway and coastal management including ecological, risk and restoration programs
- Strategic environmental systems & programs, climate change adaptation/resilience and corporate sustainability
- Environmental education, volunteering and engagement
- Development Engineering including subdivision works, development approvals, and certification of development works
- Stormwater asset maintenance, renewals and design and construction of new assets and
- Floodplain risk planning and management.

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Provide comprehensive administrative support including management of email mailboxes, handling of records and correspondence, stationery and uniform orders, maintenance of internal/external websites, organising staff events, to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency within the Team and wider Business Unit.
2) Assist with a range of operational and project-related activities including coordination, tracking actions, maintaining project documentation, minute taking and supporting the delivery of key initiatives.
3) Assist in the coordination and production of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for the Business Unit to deliver high quality data for legislative and organisational standards.
About you:
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented administration professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. You take pride in delivering accurate, timely work and providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
You are confident working across a range of systems and processes and either have experience with local government systems or the ability to quickly adapt to changing technology and system environments. With strong communication skills and a proactive approach, you are comfortable supporting operational teams, coordinating tasks, and following matters through to completion.
You work well both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate sound judgement, and are committed to continuous improvement, compliance, and positive workplace relationships.
