About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner – APAC (HR Advisor) to play a key role in supporting our regional workforce across Australia and APAC.
This is a permanent, full-time position responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR support, partnering closely with leadership to drive compliant, effective, and people-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding
- Oversee probation reviews, performance evaluations, and exit processes in line with legislation
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with leadership on headcount planning and recruitment strategy
- Lead sourcing, screening, and selection activities to ensure high-quality hires
- Design onboarding programs supporting integration and operational readiness
Performance Management & Leadership Support
- Drive performance review cycles and goal-setting frameworks
- Coach managers on performance management and succession planning
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters
- Manage grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, WHS, and relevant employment legislation
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support
- Support payroll processes, remuneration reviews, and benefits administration
- Benchmark compensation to ensure market competitiveness
HR Policy, Governance & Strategic Initiatives
- Develop and maintain HR policies aligned with global and local standards
- Support HR budgeting, workforce planning, and reporting
- Drive HR process improvements and digital transformation initiatives
Skills Required
To Manage and Lead:
- Able to manage end-to-end employee lifecycle
- Manager and Lead workforce planning & recruitment strategy
- Lead performance reviews, goal setting & succession planning
- Handle employee relations, grievances & investigations
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, WHS & employment legislation
- Support payroll, remuneration reviews & HR budgeting
- Develop and implement HR policies & initiatives
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in HR Generalist / HR Advisor / HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and compliance
- Experience managing employee relations cases independently
- Exposure to APAC or multi-country HR operations (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline
