About the Role
As a Network DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, automating and supporting Origin's enterprise network services. Working across cloud, automation and network operations, you'll build scalable solutions, improve operational efficiency and help deliver secure, reliable network services that underpin the business.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, REST APIs and modern DevOps practices.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines while improving network operations through automation and tooling.
- Manage and optimise enterprise network services including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, cloud connectivity and secure gateways.
- Partner with engineering teams to design, implement and support scalable network infrastructure and cloud-based services.
- Participate in incident management, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network reliability and performance.
What you'll bring
- Experience in a DevOps or Network Automation role with strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience supporting enterprise networking technologies including Cisco or Juniper environments.
- Understanding of modern networking including TCP/IP, SD-WAN, VPNs and cloud networking concepts.
- A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for automating and improving operational services.
