We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our busy specialist vascular laboratory, working alongside a dedicated team of vascular surgeons and healthcare professionals.
Our newly established specialist vascular practice is located on the St Vincent's Sydney campus, providing state-of-the-art facilities within a collaborative clinical environment.
The Position

Full-time position, however flexible employment arrangements will be considered.
About the Role
Working alongside our experienced team of part-time sonographers, the successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of high-quality vascular ultrasound services for both inpatient and outpatient populations.The role requires a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and clinical accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a comprehensive range of vascular ultrasound examinations to a high clinical standard. Produce accurate, high-quality ultrasound reports. Identify urgent or significant findings and communicate these promptly to medical staff. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, and referrers. Work independently while maintaining high professional and clinical standards.
Skills and Experience
Minimum five years' experience in vascular ultrasound. Demonstrated high level of technical competence across a broad range of vascular examinations. Experience working in a busy clinical environment. Excellent time management skills, with an understanding of the flexible nature of patient triage and urgent case management. Good computer literacy and familiarity with ultrasound reporting systems. Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
