About us:
Located in Adelaide, the Facilities Category Manager will lead the Facilities Procurement category across a geographically dispersed national business. Manage and develop procurement team members while providing strategic procurement expertise across facilities, construction, fit-out, utilities and fleet spend.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement category strategies that deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvements and risk mitigation.

Drive a national approach to facilities procurement, identifying opportunities to consolidate suppliers and maximise value.

Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including market engagement, RFx processes, evaluation, negotiation and contract award.

Manage procurement for facilities projects, including fit-outs, upgrades and minor construction works.

Build and manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, forecast demand and provide market insights.

Ensure procurement activities comply with governance, policy and contractual obligations.

Lead, coach and support procurement team members to deliver business outcomes.
About you:
Essential-
Significant procurement or category management experience, ideally across facilities, property, construction or infrastructure categories.

Proven experience leading end-to-end sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier management.

Strong stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen and influencing skills.

Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring procurement professionals.

- Demonstrated people leadership skills

Exposure to construction procurement
