The opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a
2/1 FIFO Senior Project Engineer to join our project teams working on a large-scale Civil scope involving tunnel lining and FRP in remote NSW. Reporting to the Project Manager and working back-to-back with another Senior Project Engineer, you will be accountable for:
- Interpreting specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures
- Comprehensive understand the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings
- Develop detailed work programs for allocated work packages
- Manage scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance
- Pro-actively manage costs within your control and claim management in order to ensure project is delivered in budget
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering - A must
- At least 10 years' experience working in a FIFO capacity with a Civil contractor with demonstrated experience at Senior level
- Experience with large scale FRP/Tunnel projects - An advantage
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in Claims Management
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Positive and collaborative attitude working in a close-knit team
