About Us: At Costas Seafood Cafe, we're all about serving up the best fish and chips in town. Our customers come to us for our friendly atmosphere, top-notch service, and, of course, our mouth-watering menu. We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic short order cook to help us continue delivering the quality and taste our customers have come to love.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook a variety of fish and seafood dishes, focusing on our signature fish and chips.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
- Assist to manage kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a short order cook or in a similar role.
- Passion for cooking and a strong understanding of fish and seafood preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
