Key Responsibilities
Duties include:
- regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- receiving stock
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen is in alignment with Food Safety requirements and general hygiene practices
- Preparation, replenishment & rotation of stock in the kitchen
- Tasks incidental to and assisting with ordering stock in accordance with par levels and the needs of the store
- Some incidental duties of lower-level kitchen classification, including dishes.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and season food as directed
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
- Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
Pay: $33.05 – $39.66 per hour
