Community Services #1 seeks a part-time Finance Assistant for immediate start to manage accounts payable/receivable, process transactions, and handle related queries.

About the Role:
- Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, reimbursements, billing, supplier payments, data entry, and managing finance inbox queries.
- Apply financial controls and policies to transactions, identify and escalate discrepancies, maintain asset and contract records, ensure compliance and confidentiality.
- Take responsibility for accurate work, follow procedures, use judgement within guidelines, support team collaboration, manage stakeholder enquiries, follow up debts, and maintain accurate records.
About you:
- Certificate III qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, maintain strong attention to detail and data accuracy, communicate effectively, and work across multiple systems and software platforms.
What we offer:
Part-time ongoing role – 60 hours per fortnight. Remuneration aligned to SCHADS Level 3, plus super and salary packaging. Supportive team, development opportunities and free parking.
Requirements:
Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain/maintain required pre-employment checks and certifications (including National Police Check, Working with Children Check and First Aid), plus mandatory training as required.
