Natural Resources is an established personal care business (20+years) that has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work within a friendly team environment for a family run soap manufacturing company!
The key objectives for this role are to be The Production Manager of manufacturing line.
This role requires the successful candidate to organise, manager and direct all activities that surround a production line.
This can be a hands-on role at times, and the right candidate would be someone who can also work in synergy with other departments such as packing, HR, OHS Officer and key shareholders in the business.
This role involves the coordination of the manufacturing team from a production line and the development of our company’s products. This is a full-time role that requires a dedicated individual.
Experience in this industry is required, and we will provide on the job training to the successful candidate.

- Experience on a production line in a small to medium size manufacturing business is desirable
- Availability to work Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3.00 pm.
- Availability to work overtime during busy periods.
This role involves:
- Overseeing the operations of the manufacturing production line including strategies
- Planning and operating within set costs and budget.
- Planning production line delegations of other staff members and monitoring staff within manufacturing unit
- Directing activities to other units, such as the warehouse and distribution teams, for final delivery of soap products Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Quality control of finished products
- Identifying business opportunities, helping establish new manufacturing processes for soap products
- Maintaining regular and updated compliance with new manufacturing policies and regulations.
- Coordinating orders for raw materials, equipment, including the negotiation and quoting of these orders, and the arrangement of packing and delivery of said orders
- Managing planning and production schedules.
- Working with senior management to plan and organise manufacturing business planning and to optimise operational and resourcing requirements for manufacturing team
- Preparing production reports for senior management
- Adhering to current OHS safety requirements.
- Planning and providing job training for all operating procedures.
- Maintaining quality control systems for manufacturing, waste disposal and other procedures
- Working in a team environment
Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
