Position Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a hands on leader with strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support front of house staff during service.
- Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management.
- Coordinate daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and productivity.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards throughout the restaurant.
- Assist with inventory control, stock ordering, and stock management.
- Work closely with management and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Support the achievement of sales targets and operational goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant supervisory or hospitality management experience.
- Valid and current Approved Manager's Card.
- Food Handlers Cert.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and responsible service requirements.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
- Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
