Position Description: Reservation & Sales Staff
Reports to: Administration Manager
As part of our Reservations & Sales team, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our guests. You’ll assist with enquiries, process bookings, and help visitors choose the best experiences for their time on the Gold Coast. You’ll work both behind the scenes and on the front desk, ensuring bookings run smoothly while supporting merchandise and tour sales.
Reservations & Sales Staff Job Duties
Guest Enquiries & Bookings
- Respond to phone, email, and in-person enquiries
- Process bookings, changes, and cancellations accurately
- Provide clear information about tours, schedules, and safety requirements
- Assist with walk-in guests and same-day availability
Sales & Guest Experience
- Recommend Aquaduck, and partner experiences
- Promote upgrades, add-ons, and merchandise
- Help guests choose the best options for their visit
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming guest experience
Administration & Reservations Support
- Manage bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling via phone, email, and booking systems
- Respond to guest enquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate booking records and notes
- Assist with daily reporting and administrative tasks
- Work closely with the Administration Manager to ensure smooth reservation processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in reservations & customer service
- Confident communication skills (phone, email, and face-to-face)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Sales-minded with the ability to recommend products naturally
- Reliable and flexible with availability during weekends and school holidays
Preferred:
- Experience with booking systems or POS systems
- Local tourism knowledge
