Form-Rite Co is seeking an experienced Stone Mason / Machine Operator to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting plans for stone benchtop fabrication
- Measuring, cutting, and machining stone slabs using CNC equipment and CAD programs
- Edge profiling including mitering and finishing stone benchtops to specification
- Some benchtop installations
- Quality checking of finished pieces to ensure accuracy and finish standards are met
Skills & Experience:
- Experience or formal training in the fabrication and installation of kitchen benchtops and custom furniture
- Proficient in CAD software and CNC machine operations
- Experience operating Breton Winger CNC, ZIPOR stone cutting machine, or similar CNC equipment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in stone fabrication and installation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s licence required
Salary:
$78,000 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
