As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide practical, social and personal support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.
This is a community-based role where no two days are the same. You will be part of a team that values connection, reliability and making a real difference.
- Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assist with domestic support such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Support community access including appointments, shopping and social outings
- Deliver companionship and emotional support
- Promote independence, choice and dignity
- Observe and report changes in client wellbeing
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
- Passionate about supporting older people to live well at home
- Reliable, compassionate and respectful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable across different client needs
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Home & Community or equivalent)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker screening
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone for rostering and communication systems
