About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Storeperson/Warehouse Operator to join our Operations team at Narangba.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and working closely with the Production and Administration teams, you will play an important role in ensuring finished products and ingredients are received, stored, packed and dispatched safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in keeping a warehouse and manufacturing environment running smoothly.
Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career with Ridley.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operating high-reach double-deep forklifts safely and efficiently
- Receiving, storing and loading ingredients and finished products
- Packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and following FIFO practices
- Completing receival, dispatch and weighbridge documentation
- Liaising with drivers regarding deliveries and collections
- Maintaining site housekeeping, hygiene and safety standards
- Supporting production, stocktakes and continuous improvement activities
- Following all relevant quality, HACCP, environmental and legislative requirements
About you
You will be reliable, practical and safety-focused, with a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Australian forklift licence – mandatory
- Demonstrated experience operating high-reach double-deep forklifts – essential
- Previous warehouse, stores, manufacturing or similar experience is desirable
- Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and team-oriented approach
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Willingness and availability to work on a rotating shift roster and overtime as required
