About the role
In this role, you will help devise and execute exciting marketing and communications campaign strategies, produce high-quality content to support projects and events, and champion new and exciting ways to communicate with our community. Your responsibilities will include:

Marketing Council’s exciting program of events, activations and initiatives across arts, culture, entertainment, community service and more!

Developing and producing high-quality written, visual and digital content across Council's communications platforms (website, social media, e-newsletters and print publications)

Supporting communications for Council projects and policy initiatives, translating complex information into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences

Collaborating with internal stakeholders across Council departments to gather information and coordinate communications activities

Assisting in the planning and delivery of marketing, communications and engagement campaigns

Maintaining content calendars and ensuring timely delivery of communications materials
Skills & Experience
-
Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or a relevant field, or commensurate industry experience.
- A minimum of two years industry experience.

Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
-
Exceptional written communication skills with great attention to detail
-
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
