Key Responsibilities
Diagnose: Lead troubleshooting for complex mechanical and auto-electrical faults.
Safety & RWC: Oversee and conduct vehicle safety inspections and Roadworthy Certificates (RWC).
Manage: Coordinate workshop flow, logbook servicing, and general automotive repairs.
Mentor: Supervise junior technicians, guide apprentices, and uphold strict safety standards.
Customer Interface: Clearly explain diagnostic findings and repair recommendations to clients.
What You NeedQualified:
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
Licensed Examiner: Approved QLD Transport safety certificate examiner license (highly regarded).
Experienced: Minimum 2 years of post-trade workshop experience with strong diagnostic skills.
Leader: Proven capability to manage workshop throughput and mentor a team.
Driver: Valid manual driver's license with a clean traffic record.
