As we continue to grow, we are seeking reliable, professional, and tech-confident Freelance Event & IT Support Technicians to assist across upcoming events and projects.
Position Summary
This role combines hands-on event operations with technical support responsibilities. You will assist with onsite event setup, guest services, equipment handling, POS systems, troubleshooting, and operational support throughout live events.
Full training will be provided prior to onsite work to ensure familiarity with our products, systems, and event procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the events, IT, hospitality, or AV industries while working on exciting live projects with a global company.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent & Guest Support
- Assisting with guest check-in and registration
- Welcoming and directing attendees
- Supporting onsite event operations
- Providing professional customer service
- Working closely with the event team throughout the event
Technical & Operational Support
- Install, configure, and test POS systems and related hardware (Square and other platforms)
- Support corporate events, hospitality venues, and business clients
- Troubleshoot technical issues onsite under time pressure
- Assist with equipment setup, logistics, warehouse preparation, and occasional hand-carry tasks
- Provide basic client guidance and handover training
- Travel to onsite jobs across metro areas and occasional regional locations
- Work independently while following SOPs, job briefs, and event schedules

- Must be available for the full event shift and event dates
- Full driver’s licence, own vehicle, and ABN required
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and event-based schedules
